    Blue Summer Outfits

I know I’m super late with the round up of my blue summer outfits but I’ve been super busy with work. You know that thing when summer is almost over and you have to return back to school well yeah that’s it…. haha I’ve done the color blue before but it was more on the navy side. This time I wanted something more cheerful and fun. “Blue calls to mind feelings of calmness or serenity. It is often described as peaceful, tranquil, secure, and orderly.” Let’s get into the nautical vibe collection. I added stripes, eyelet, ruffles, flowers, polka dots, and more stripes. I love playing around with my clothes. They’re…

How to style purple outfits purple outfit ideas

Happy July we made it!! When I think of purple I think of royalty. Purple symbolize greatness, power, independence, grandeur etc. When I wear the color purple I feel a sense of calmness and peace. In this post I will be sharing how to style purple outfits. My favorite shade of purple is lavender. Lavender is a soft hue of the color and one of my favorites. This wardrobe rack collection I actually grabbed a piece from my husband’s closet too. Can you guess what piece I took? I enjoy wearing his linen polo oxford shirts to bed or around the house. It’s lightweight masculine with a sexy feminine twist…

    Red Outfit Ideas

Happy March and Women’s Herstory Month! Spring is steadily moving upon us and I can’t wait to break into spring colors. Last month I continued my wardrobe color theme challenge on Instagram. The focus color was red. In this post I will share my red outfit ideas. This post contains affiliate links I was a little hesitant to select red as the theme color because red can be extremely bold and loud. However, I’m glad I followed through with it because I received a lot of positive feedback on the red outfit ideas. Red is typically associated with love, warning, stop, Marilyn Monroe or red lip stick. Red demands attention…

    Bar Cart Styling

Murray February!! We are half way through the month. I can’t believe spring is around the corner. I’ve been obsessed with home decor lately well really since my early twenties but never made the effort to commit to it. This fall I saw a bar cart on Pinterest and fell in love with it. The bar cart was decorated with pumpkins, pillows, a picture frame and book. In this post I’m going to show you my version of bar cart styling. I’m learning now that bar carts don’t have to be specifically for liquor or drinks necessarily. Nowadays bar carts are used to add an extra spice or decor/warmth to…

    Blue outfits

Happy February and Black History Month!! I decided to roll my wardrobe rack back out with blue outfits. I’m loving this wardrobe theme because I get to style my pieces so many different ways and it forces me to dig deeper in my closet. In this post I’m going to show you how I wore the items throughout the week. I may include some pictures of how I wore the blue outfits before. I’m discovering that I have some really classic pieces. I love the variety and different textures of clothing. The fact that most of the things I own are interchangeable which allows me to get a Bang for…

    Wear Pink

Happy New Year! I hope you all well. For 2021 I have decided to go on a (semi) no buy challenge. I’ve been feeling a little weird about spending money unnecessarily. It won’t be for the entire year but I plan on buying less as possible. I figured I could re-style the clothes I already own. I would only purchase something if it’s a major deal or I don’t already have a similar item in my closet. For January I chose to wear pink and style everything pink out of my closet. Who said you can’t wear pink in January? I figured I could choose a specific color (theme) for…

    Blue shoes on the block

Hi guys, Happy holiday season! I’m currently off for next 6 days and I’m super excited about relaxing and taking it easy. For the last two and a half months I’ve been extremely conscious about shopping. I re-evaluated my closet and decided I didn’t need to buy anything just because it’s on sale. However, I decided to treat myself early for my birthday to a pair of fabulous blue shoes. I call them “The blue shoes on the block.” This post contains affiliate links When the shoes arrived I felt a little guilt. To be honest I wasn’t as excited as I thought I should be. Then I decided to…

    Holiday Outfit Challenge

Hey guys I hope you all are doing well! About two weeks ago I was brainstorming trying to figure out what my next YouTube video could be on. I decided to pull out all my holiday pieces from my closet (tartan, sequin, velvet, red, black, green) to encourage others to look in their closet and style what they already have. I was literally thinking of stuff I have in my sleep like my tartan shoes. And that’s how the holiday outfit challenge started. This post contains affiliate links As I was posting a picture of my wardrobe rack on my IG stories of all the pieces I pulled from my…

    Polka Dot Style

So one of 2019 fashion trends this spring is polka dot. I personally don’t think it’s a trend, polka dot is a pattern I believe won’t ever go out of style. The Who What Wear Collection at Target really nailed it with the midi skirt and tiered ruffle midi dress. When I first saw the skirt in the store it definitely caught my eye. I like how it has the 1950s swing and length style. The black polka-dots pop off the vivid blue skirt. I added a nautica horizontal stripe shirt to change up the pattern a bit. I threw on my red Italian leather purse for a pop of…
