Bar Cart Styling
Murray February!! We are half way through the month. I can’t believe spring is around the corner. I’ve been obsessed with home decor lately well really since my early twenties but never made the effort to commit to it. This fall I saw a bar cart on Pinterest and fell in love with it. The bar cart was decorated with pumpkins, pillows, a picture frame and book. In this post I’m going to show you my version of bar cart styling.
I’m learning now that bar carts don’t have to be specifically for liquor or drinks necessarily. Nowadays bar carts are used to add an extra spice or decor/warmth to a room. First I like to start off with screenshots of the items that I’m interested in for the bar cart. Then I’ll save it to my phone in notes or favorite pictures so I can refer back to it when I’m ready to make the purchase. The mini vision board put things in perspective for me.

Styling cart
I googled bar carts until I found one to my liking and price point. Then I purchased it. It took me about 3 to 4 weeks to open it and put it together. It was fairly easy assembling roughly 30/40 minutes. The furry pillow I own was to big to start off the bar cart styling so I might have to buy a new slipcover for one of the smaller pillows. I also had a threshold fir + suede crackling wood wick candle which look awesome on the cart. The crackling candle will give you the fireplace vibe if you don’t have one. The marble gold initial coasters I purchased this summer looks beautiful displayed on the cart.
My goal was to go to Michael’s and Marshalls to find decor items for the cart. I knew I wanted a small glass vase with flowers, a gold picture frame for our family photo and a small glass pitcher. Most of the items I found at Marshalls. Marshalls had the kissing bird, cake platter, small bowl, straw holder, picture frame and spring flower vase.
Bar carts are fun because you can change the decor with the different seasons or holidays. It can also be used for entertaining guest with Perrier, seltzer, club soda or cocktails.
