Hey guys I know I’ve been M.I.A. don’t judge me. I have a few upcoming post capturing all the fun I’ve been having while I was away so stay tuned. Two weeks ago I went to New York for a fun day in the city. I love NYC I can never get enough of that place. I was suppose to clean my house but decided it was too nice outside to be inside cleaning. Btw I need to hire a cleaning lady, let me know if you have any recommendations.

It was Fashion Week in NYC so I was able to observe a little street style. When you are there you are bound to see anything all while eating ice-cream in the process. We went downtown to Wall Street to roam around in the area. We spotted a photographer taking pictures of some girls on the steps near the NY Stock Exchange. Then we witnessed a woman wearing a waste dress which consisted of plastic water bottles, soda cans, coffee cups, tops, plastic straws, etc. It really made me think how wasteful we are as a country and what can I do to help to sustain the earth. I know I’m guilty of buying cases of water bottles, so I’ve been wondering how can I make a conscious effort to assist with helping save the planet/environment.

After witnessing the eclectic looks, I moseyed on down to Zara to see their fall collection. I managed to purchase a little red dress and the ultra juicy toilette spray. I’ll share the look at a later date. I also discovered Century 21 sell pre-owned designer bags. So if you are in the market to sell or trade in any of your purses you can do that there. We hung around the Oculus, which is an amazing architectural piece of art.

Don’t mind my face I’m smiling through the garbage smell …yikes!

We stayed in the city until 6pm then headed back to Jersey to grab something to eat. We love discovering new places to eat. We dined at Miti Miti, a Latin American restaurant in South Orange. I had the jerk chicken with rice & beans and plantains. It was DELICIOUS, I am low key a foodie. Please excuse my pic I almost started eating then realized I didn’t take a pic …..shame on me And yes I’m one of those who take pictures of their food #sorrynotsorry

Well that’s all I have for now! Stay tuned for my future post I’m sharing a place I visited that I can check off my bucket list. I wrote about it in a previous post. Can you guess where it is? Tell me do you like hanging in NYC? What new restaurant have you discovered? Share is caring, I love trying new spots I’m open to all suggestions.
