Georgia Aquarium and Coca-Cola World

Ocean Voyager Georgia Aquarium

Two weeks ago I visited Atlanta which was on my things to do for the summer list. I was originally scheduled to go in August but my brother planned his birthday brunch for September so there was a slight change of plans. I promised my daughter we would go to the Aquarium while we were there, I feel a little guilty for going without her but she’ll forgive me. We thought it would be too crowded going on the weekend but it actually wasn’t too bad. We woke up early to arrive around 11 a.m. If you purchase your tickets before 11 a.m. you are suppose to get a 10% discount but unfortunately I forgot to request mine at the window.

Anywho we were able to attend the 11:30 a.m. dolphin show instead of the 2 o’clock show we had originally planned to see. You can pay 5 extra dollars to reserve seating, it’s not necessary but I highly recommend it because it’s first come first serve seating. We opted to sit above row 10 because if you sit below row 10 you are bound to get wet. I didn’t want to smell like dolphin water for the rest of the day so I carried myself right on up those stairs. The dolphins were amazing, they are such beautiful creatures.

I think we are all big kids at heart. I enjoyed ever bit of the aquarium. I captured some great shots of the fish, crabs, scuba divers etc. Check it out below.

I have wanted to go to the Georgia Aquarium for years. Being able to SCUBA dive in their 10,000 gallon tank is on my list of things to do. Thanks for the great post, it has made me want to go even more.

I haven’t been to Georgia Aquarium but I have visited Aquariums in different Europes cities like Berlin, Stockholm… and I am in love with them, every single time! Unfortunately, I haven’t seen yet a dolphin show but I will do it one day! You have amazing pictures! 🙂
