Our Favorite Places to Eat

Growing up dining out was usually a treat and I mean a TREAT! We would probably dine out once or every other month at the most. I swear children today especially mine to be specific have it rather good. They have their own room, cell phone, extra-curricula activities to choose from and the opportunity to dine out at our favorite places to eat quite often. My husband and I have to take full responsibility, so we can’t complain when they ask to go out to eat.

Kids Restuarant Choice

My daughter’s favorite restaurant is Grill Stone in Scotch Plains NJ. Sadiah love to order the caesar salad and the flat bread cheese pizza. I would have to agree with her choice because their grilled salmon is delicious. If my son had to choose the restaurant for the evening he would probably say lets go to Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet in Watchung NJ. Naif loves the variety of food he can select as well as the unlimited portions. He particularly like shrimp and almost anything teriyaki.

Family Restaurant Choice

One of our favorite places to eat that we frequent kind of on a weekly basis is Star Tavern located in Orange NJ. It is a family oriented tavern where people usually hang out to watch sports, have pizza, buffalo wings, and salad. We are considered regulars there, Sadiq and I have been going there for years. We are never in need of a menu they already know 4 apple juices, regular cheese pie, buffalo wings, caesar salad, and recently we’ve added mozzarella sticks to our order the kids love them. Star Tavern is Zagat rated with plenty of trusted raving reviews throughout NJ as well as The New York Times. It is a must have if you have not tried it before.
