Gingham for Spring

Guess what guys we are moving closer to summer!! Are you ready? I love spring it’s not too hot or not too cold. The best part of spring is being able to indulge in spring colors. Yeah right, who created that rule? I wear whatever color I want all year long. I enjoy wearing bright colors because its fun and it bring out my inner personality. There are no rules in my book. If you could ask someone to describe me they would probably say I’m quiet and reserve however my outfits doesn’t always match up… lol 

My latest obsession is gingham. One of my favorite stores has the cutest gingham pieces all the way down to the socks. The thing I like about gingham is you can dress it up, for example wear it on Easter to church or casually throw it on for brunch with your friends. I chose to wear my gingham pants on the weekend while shopping at the mall.

I actually bought two pieces because I couldn’t decide if I wanted the Martie pants with bi-stretch or the No. 2 pencil skirt. I also grabbed Sadiah the Girls everyday leggings and the oversized gingham socks in peony ivory and dazzling sun ivory. I currently have my eye on the ruffle wrap skirt in gingham.

I can wear the wrap skirt on vacation this summer or to a Day party on the beach in the Hamptons. I’m just saying a girl must plan her outfits out in her head. How would you wear your gingham outfit? Let me know in the comments.
