Denim & Twinning
How’s everyone doing? I hope this blog post find you safe and well. We must constantly check in with each other due to COVID-19. We are living history, the whole nation closing schools, the workforce being shut down …. WHOA Spring is here and we should be out and about but unfortunately we are stuck in for our own safety. Well the first week we were encouraged to stay home I immediately set out that Saturday to take photos for content. I thought it would be the perfect time with less people traffic. I also managed to have a mini shoot with my mini me.
The Process
I woke up Saturday morning and instead of scrolling on social media I put some outfits together to shoot. I usually like to twin with my mini so I peeked in her closet to see what we can pair together. Sometimes I intentionally buy pieces we can wear together however half the time our outfits typically coordinate. I grabbed her chambray dress, army green spring jacket and Jordan’s. I wore my patchwork khaki green pants, a denim shirt, suede Marc Fisher wedge sandals and a straw hat.
Getting all the outfits together was time consuming but I managed to pull it off. We didn’t go near anyone and we were done in roughly two hours. I promised my mini cookies for the length of time it took, she always manage to bribe me of something. Extortion at such a young age! Actually she is an excellent negotiator and she’s had this skill since she was young. I wonder what she will grow up to be Lawyer Teacher hmmmm?? Well enough of our antics here is our look. Hi Kim I’m actually being very discipline cutting back on spending however I do miss walking around in the mall for exercise one and to window shop … lol you stay safe as well!!

Ya’ll are just too cute! I love that you match with your mini you. I feel like you can’t get away with that a lot when the kids get a bit older so it’s awesome to take advantage of it now. I definitely wanna coordinate with my kids when I have them. It makes me excited to get dressed up.
