Christopher John Rogers dress

Firstly, have you ever heard of Christopher John Rogers? Instagram went viral in May with the release of his new collection. The African American designer collaborated with Target for an exclusive line of dresses. As a result, everybody was posting these beautiful bold dresses ordered from the collection. In this post I’m going to share the Christopher John Rogers dress I picked up from Target.

The influencers on Instagram were posting reels, stories, and in feed post of this collection. However, we couldn’t get enough of these colorful dresses that ignited the timeline. Intrigued by the excitement I decided to check out these dresses on my Target app.

The first dress that caught my attention was the mini green dress with the dramatic sleeves. It appeared to be fun, girly, and definitely a conversation starter. If I couldn’t get my hands on any of the dresses I felt I needed that one for my closet. Fortunately I was able to score the floral print, ruffle tiered, couture piece of art.

When the dress arrived I was highly impressed with the craftsmanship and quality of the Christopher John Rogers dress. I decided to style the dress with combat boots to give it a more edgy, fun, runaway feel. We captured pictures with the children in the backyard to create memories of this work of Art. I would love for my children to look back at the pictures and say mommy was fabulous and stylish.
