My sister and her boys invited my family to tag along on their trip to Camelback Lodge. My oldest nephew live out of town and we don’t get to see his family often so it was a no brainer. Last year we were only able to spend a day with them so this year we tried to coordinated our vacation. The kids love hanging out together. First we kicked off Sunday with a Pre-birthday celebration for Taye & Drey (g-nephews). I’m a G-Aunt but DON’T ever use that G word completely G sounds better …. lol G also happen to sound gangsta so I may have to reconsider what I want to be called … idk

Anywho we don’t always get to travel out of town to celebrate Taye & Drey’s birthday so my sister decided to have a Jersey celebration. Nothing big just cupcakes, ice-cream and cousin fun.

Camelback Lodge

After we sent our son off to High School for a week the next day we headed out to Camelback. Camelback Lodge is an indoor (Aquatopia) waterpark and ski resort. It’s located in the beautiful village of Tannersville Pocono Township, PA. The Tannersville 100 outlet mall is 5 minutes away for all you shoppers. On the resort there’s an arcade on the lower level for the kids to play, a restaurant, cafe, souvenir shop and other amenities. Camelback beach outdoor waterpark is about 10 minutes away. Unfortunately we weren’t able to visit the outdoor waterpark because it started lightning a few miles from the park so they shut it down. Luckily the indoor park is open until 10pm every night so when all else fail stay inside.

Family Love

The resort has many room options. My sister selected the two bedroom loft suite which also has a queen bed in the loft area. The living area has a pull out couch so the unit can sleep up to 8 people in total. With our stay we were given 8 indoor water passes and 4 outdoor water passes. The additional passes for the outdoor water park are $15 each. However my nephew stated you get 4 outdoor waterpark passes daily with your stay. It’s a great family resort. As promised I won’t bore you any further enjoy the pictures.
