Wear Pink

Happy New Year! I hope you all well. For 2021 I have decided to go on a (semi) no buy challenge. I’ve been feeling a little weird about spending money unnecessarily. It won’t be for the entire year but I plan on buying less as possible. I figured I could re-style the clothes I already own. I would only purchase something if it’s a major deal or I don’t already have a similar item in my closet. For January I chose to wear pink and style everything pink out of my closet. Who said you can’t wear pink in January?

I figured I could choose a specific color (theme) for the month. I can grab pieces from my closet add them to my wardrobe rack and style them accordingly. I’ve encouraged others to join in on the challenge which was pretty fun in December when we did the holiday challenge.

You actually don’t realize what you have until you start digging. And I’m pretty sure I have more pink in my summer bin however that’s currently packed away. I really enjoy bright colors in the winter well really all year round. Bright colors just does something to my mood. The brighter the better!

Wear Pink Ladies

I had a few influencers on Instagram join in on the challenge and they killed it as usual. Di_Ma_Rivera pulled out her gorgeous pink form fitting coat and sweater. Shotzies_way styled her hot pink pants suit for the challenge.

I styled my hot pink cardigan with all denim, wide leg magenta pants with a graphic tee and cardigan, pink ruffle blouse with mini skirt and last my sequin skirt with graphic tee and cardigan. I love that my pieces are interchangeable I can pair them with several outfits. The goal is to get cost per wear out of the clothes you buy.
