Sag Harbor Restaurants

Happy Summer!! With just about all of the Covid 19 restrictions being lifted it’s time for fun in the sun. This July 4th we decided to visit Sag Harbor for the holiday weekend. During our stay we visited a few Sag Harbor Restaurants which I will share in this blog post.

I love a great place to eat I guess it’s safe to say I’m a foodie. I typically go off of word of mouth recommendations. But when you don’t have suggestions from others it’s always safe to go to places that have a long line of people waiting. It’s usually a sign of a popular place.

Places to eat in Sag Harbor

When I first visited Sag Harbor Village roughly four years ago we ate at The Dock. This little shack of a place is hands down my favorite Sag Harbor Restaurant. I always order the Salmon Sandwich with salad. The salmon not only melt in your mouth it is super fresh and delicious! My husband ordered the fish and chips, Naif had fried shrimp and Sadiah ordered the crab cakes. She wasn’t really impressed with the crab cakes so she also ordered mozzarella sticks. This place is so good we went there twice during our stay.

Next up is LT Burger. This cute little burger joint is perfect for families. I love the bright orange decor the little window booths and outdoor seating. I ordered the Turkey burger combo with a chocolate milkshake. Sadiq had a standard burger with mushrooms and cheese, Naif had buffalo wings and Sadiah ordered a Caesar salad with fries. I think the next time I visit I will definitely order a standard burger and strawberry shake.

Last but not least is Sag Pizza. Well the first night we tried to go there they ran out of pizza. So the following day we went back for lunch and pizza was back on the menu …… haha It was a toss up from the San Marzano or the NY Pepperoni. The waitress suggested I get the San Marzano since I don’t eat pepperoni. I’m glad I chose the Marzano it was delicious.

The pizza is a 12 inch personal size pie. It comes with fresh mozzarella and basil. I believe the pizza is cooked in an open wood oven. I also ordered the lemon fizz drink which was cold and refreshing. We definitely went back for takeout on our last day in the Hamptons.

I can’t end this blog post without dessert! I think we went to Yummylicious three times during our visit. The ice cream is amazing. The first time I tried a scoop of chocolate and strawberry in a cup. The next visit I went all out with a homemade waffle cone and chocolate ice cream. It did not disappoint. I tried to go back a 3rd time but they were closed so I settled for a mini Häagen-Dazs cup from the gas station …

So that’s all folks if you ever visit Sag Harbor check out these restaurants they won’t disappoint. Let me know if you ever been to Sag Harbor and where you’ve eaten.
