Blue shoes on the block

Hi guys, Happy holiday season! I’m currently off for next 6 days and I’m super excited about relaxing and taking it easy. For the last two and a half months I’ve been extremely conscious about shopping. I re-evaluated my closet and decided I didn’t need to buy anything just because it’s on sale. However, I decided to treat myself early for my birthday to a pair of fabulous blue shoes. I call them “The blue shoes on the block.”

When the shoes arrived I felt a little guilt. To be honest I wasn’t as excited as I thought I should be. Then I decided to pull some items from my closet to style the shoes. Once I discovered so many cobalt blue pieces in my closet the excitement kicked in. I think I was more excited because I didn’t have to buy anything to go with the shoes which is always a plus. We’ll all be surprised at how many things we already have in our closet if we took the time to look. Here’s a look at what I found.

I was able to pull together at least 4 to 5 outfits from the rack to style with the blue shoes on the block. Lately I’ve been enjoying pulling clothes from my closet and creating the color theme wardrobe rack. It’s also convenient because I can just wear anything off the rack throughout the week. A few weeks ago I created a holiday outfit challenge. The theme color was mainly red and tartan.
