A Day in Brooklyn

Well Murray friends summer is coming to a end but it’s not quite over “Until the Fat Lady Sings.” We are going out with a Bang! No we really aren’t it just sound good. We like to take every opportunity there is to get out and do something. Sometimes something means doing nothing but it’s all good. What am I talking about? IDK just pretend I do.

Two weeks ago we ventured out to Brooklyn to support my husband’s friend Carl. At the Fairway in Red Hook Brooklyn, he’s selling the “Best Fish Sandwich in the World.” They are called “Fyros” and they come in a variety of options: lobster, shrimp, basa, salmon, and vegan. You can get your choice steamed or fried and it comes with a special Fyro sauce plus toppings of your liking. There are a few dates left to visit on the waterfront 8/31, 9/1, & 9/2 from 11-7 p.m. If you are in the area go check it out the view is amazing!

I’m going to share pictures we took while we were there. After we ate we found Ample Hills Red Hook Factory located down the street and grabbed ice-cream before heading home.
