Tomboy Chic

In my younger days my mother would always wonder what happen to my hair during the day because I would come home after school like I had gotten into a fight. I would play rough at school and I didn’t particularly care what my hair or clothes looked like. To be quite honest with you, I only comb or brush my hair once a day. My husband is always getting on me about brushing my hair (and pulling my fingers through it doesn’t count in his book) … lol

I’m most comfortable wearing flats but I enjoy looking cute. I love styling my sneakers for a chic tomboy look. Lately I’ve been wearing my husband oversized oxford shirts around the house and trying on his blazers. I think menswear on women if styled properly can be extremely chic.

When I ran across these navy wide leg pants I knew immediately I could dress them down with my adidas sneakers and a casual cotton sweater.  I grabbed my red Italian leather crossbody bag (similar) to add a pop of color. I conveniently needed my hair done so I threw on this Burberry scarf. Neon green was really on trend this season and I believe it will continue through spring and summer. I paired a supersoft neon green cotton sweater with the navy pants for a transitional spring look. This sweater can also be styled with denim jeans or shorts because it’s super lightweight. Tell me do you like this look? Are you ready for spring? If you liked this look check out this gingham outfit post

I hope this look brought you some spring vibes ………
