Who’s ready for summer? June marks my sixth month anniversary of blogging. Wow how time flies when you are having fun! I’m happy I’ve embarked on this new journey. Believe it or not I had thoughts of self doubt and wondered if I would be able to keep up and maintain this blog along with being a wife, mom, friend, business owner, and career woman. But guess what I make it work everyday and remain committed to doing something that I truly enjoy. I love my family and I am extremely grateful for all of the titles mentioned above. However, blogging allows me to be free and creative plus I get to story tell about whatever my big heart desires. I also get to meet some amazing supportive people along the way. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with adding another title to my resume.

I am super excited after four months a major brand which I truly adore reached out to me to work with them. Granted I believe they have been following me for some years now and I tag them whenever I’m rocking something from their collection so I guess I’ve proved that I’m a true fan. But I can’t take full credit for being exposed to this brand on my own. I have to give full credit to my mother who introduced me to Lands End some years ago. I remember being in need of a dress shirt for work and my mother went to Sears and purchased their iconic Women’s Supima Cotton No-Iron Shirt and the rest is history. I love their cardigans, tote bags, swim wear, little girl’s dresses, khaki’s for boys, coats, just everything.

I immediately jumped on the opportunity to work with Lands End. When my first sponsored gift arrived, I could barely get in the door I was already thinking about how was I going to record an unboxing of my gift. The box was so cute, an illusion of the blue ocean with the sun hitting the horizon which gave a glitzing effect. Inside the box was a beautiful navy blue and white notch neck cover up dress with drawstrings and tassels. The dress fall above the knee, slightly taper the mid-section and swing back out over the hips. The material is 83% nylon/17% spandex with UPF 50 protection. I love it, it’s extremely comfortable and feels good on the skin.

Sadiah’s one piece long sleeve bathing suit is currently on sale for $16.97 (steal) I just love the color. I originally bought her swimsuit at the end of last season which I typically do to save money. They also have a similar swimsuit for $22.06 if your child prefer no sleeves.

The next day after we took these photos another special gift arrived in the mail. It was a sand-free reversible beach mat and the deep sea tropical flower monogrammed (M) medium canvas tote. I was in Awe of the beautiful colors. I just love the tote bag it’s lightweight and roomy. I have managed to fit two to three beach towels, sunscreen, water shoes, snacks, sunglasses (can’t forget them), my wallet and anything in between in my previous tote bags. I love that the tote bag has the key hook so you don’t have to dig for your keys. I also like that you have the option of purchasing the zip top or open top closure tote. The tote bags come in a variety of sizes small, medium, large, and extra-large. The new item I have my eye on is the weekender duffle bag.
